Kissaten Japanese Noodle Shop (Honolulu)

I am not a huge fan of many places in Waikiki for the mere fact that most places are way over priced and aren't "that" good. One of my brothers friends showed me this places and its pretty reasonable for being in Waikiki and its pretty darn good. Most ramen bowls are around $8.95 and you can add on gyoza for $1.50. Pork fried rice was pretty tasty, but I don't think I would get it again. Totally not worth $8.50 (I had a groupon at the time). This place is located in the lower food court level of the Waikiki Shopping Center. The food court area has been under construction, so you have go down the stairs on the Seaside ave side of the building.

Boot’s and Kimo’s Homestyle Kitchen (Kailua)

119 Hekili St
Kailua, HI
808-263-7929
*they moved down the street from this location sitting on the corner of hekili street and hahani street across from don quiote*

small inside and can be very crowded, so don’t suggest taking a large group
If you like either waffles or pancakes I would go they have awesome Macadamia Nut Sauce. We waited almost an hour last time my dad came out because they are that good. You have to try the sauce it is awesome! Its all about the sauce ask anyone who has gone.

If you on the other hand arent a big fan of pancakes I wouldn't go the rest of their menu is on the expensive end for what you are getting and I wasn't a huge fan of their fried rice.
