Rocky's Coffee Shop (Waipahu)

i found a picture of the restaurant front. i had a hard time finding it because google maps kinda failed me and i couldnt find any address numbers on any buildings so hopefully this helps a little. its a part of a strip mall shopping center and there is a parking lot on the otherside of the building. otherwise its street parking.
Rocky special omelette- bacon, spam, pork sausage, Portuguese sausage
fried rice omelette including hot tea and hot chocolate
$17 including to and tax. winner!
i have only had the fried rice omelette and it was not bad. im a pretty tough critique when it comes to fried rice because im used to my dads awesome fried rice, but this one i could not complain. it was pretty good and i was just amazed how they rolled it into an omelette.

this place has the mom and pop kinda feel to it, or a like a "june's cafe" but with more seating. its a pretty cool little spot i found my last trip out there and i think when i go back for school i try some other dishes. the prices are reasonable so i cant complain.

I think they are only open for breakfast and lunch

Tasty Korean BBQ

lunch version of the meat jun. and the sauce to dip the meat jun in is in that clear jar in the upper right part of the picture. so freakin good! i always hit up this place when i meet up with my roommate who lives close to this place.

the restaurant is between star market and longs and next to subway and some bike shop. it is usually pretty busy but it is def worth the wait. its reasonably priced and you get plenty of food. if you still have room you can go around the corner to cookie corner for a fresh baked cookie. yum!

just keep in mind they are closed on sundays. its in a mormon town so basically everything is closed on sundays, and its a breakfast and lunch kinda place. its super small so if you have a big party it might be kinda hard to get seated.
